Inorganic membranes are relatively expensive to manufacture and can operate in many different harsh environments, and their service life can also be guaranteed. The biofilm modules of MBR are divided according to their different functions in the whole system, including separable MBR, aerated MBR and extractable MBR, etc. The separation module of MVR is a bit similar to the secondary sedimentation tank in the traditional microbial treatment technology. Different from the combination of reactor and membrane, the bioreactor of MBR sewage treatment technology can also be divided into two types: split and integrated. The split type, as the name implies, means that the arrangement of the biofilm module and the reactor is separate, and the drive of the entire system is driven by the pressure pump.


The advantage of the split type is that the entire system is relatively stable and safe, the operation is more convenient, and the cleaning and replacement of the membrane is also simpler. The disadvantage is that the power requirements are higher. The integrated form is to put the membrane module in the bioreactor, and use the vacuum pump to suck the water out. This form of processing has lower operating costs, but there is still a certain gap between the stability and the convenience of operation and the split type.
